Jeein Yoon, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Division of Mental Health and Child Development at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She provides consultation for CAPP, clinical care in outpatient psychiatry clinics, and psychiatric consultation in primary care pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.

Dr. Yoon is triple-boarded in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Prior to joining the faculty at UCSF, she practiced as a general pediatrician for the underserved and high-risk population at St. Christopher’s Hospital in Philadelphia. Her primary interest is in integrating behavioral health in primary care pediatrics.

She completed her medical school at Ewha Womans University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, general pediatrics residency at Cleveland Clinic, combined child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry training at University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Yoon is Associate Director of Resource Development for CAPP.
