Josiah Cox, MD, PhD
Josiah Cox, MD, PhD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Division of Mental Health and Child Development at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He provides consultation for CAPP and clinical care in outpatient psychiatry clinics at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.
Dr. Cox recently completed training in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Tulane University in New Orleans. He completed medical school in the Physician Scientist Training Program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His primary interests are in integrating behavioral health in primary care pediatrics and early childhood trauma.
