Lauren Schumacher, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist for the Division of Mental Health and Child Development at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She provides clinical care in the outpatient clinics at UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinics in San Francisco and at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.

Dr. Schumacher completed her bachelor's degree at Harvard University, medical school and adult psychiatry residency training at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UCSF.
