Rebecca (Becky) Sturner is originally from Baltimore, MD, where she stayed to complete her undergraduate studies in psychology and natural sciences at Johns Hopkins University. She attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, her general psychiatry residency at University of California, San Diego, and then made her way back to NYC for child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at NYU Langone/Bellevue Hospitals. She is thrilled to be back in California and to put down roots in the Bay Area. Her specific clinical interests include caring for children and families with a history of traumatic experiences and improving access to mental health care. At UCSF, she works in Mission Bay as an outpatient child psychiatrist, with a focus on advancing collaborative care efforts.
