Rebecca Sturner, MD

Rebecca (Becky) Sturner is originally from Baltimore, MD, where she stayed to complete her undergraduate studies in psychology and natural sciences at Johns Hopkins University. She attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, her general psychiatry residency at University of California, San Diego, and then made her way back to NYC for child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at NYU Langone/Bellevue Hospitals. She is thrilled to be back in California and to put down roots in the Bay Area.

Zara Szeftel, MD

Zara Szeftel, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Division of Mental Health and Child Development at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She provides clinical care in the outpatient clinics at Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

Ho-Hui “Eileen” Wang, MD is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Division of Mental Health and Child Development at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She provides clinical care in the outpatient clinic at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland as well as at the UCSF Medical Center at Parnassus Heights.

Jeein Yoon, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Division of Mental Health and Child Development at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She provides consultation for CAPP, clinical care in outpatient psychiatry clinics, and psychiatric consultation in primary care pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.

Cynthia V Zarate, MS

Director of Operations

Cynthia V. Zarate, MS, is the Director of Operations for the California Child and Adolescent Mental Health Access Portal (Cal-MAP). She specializes in strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on advancing programs that improve healthcare delivery and accessibility. 

Prior to her current role, Cynthia was the Director of Education and Instructional Services at the UCSF School of Pharmacy, where she managed the operational aspects of the PharmD degree program.
